Another productive clean-up Sunday. Started cleaning and organizing the garage in preparation for winter, when Mrs Dragon will want to park her car indoors again. I've accumulated a large collection of wood scraps. Think I'm going to have to chuck some of it.

I read a book by Depak Chopra once where he talked about meditation and shutting off all thought. I practiced that for awhile and still occasionally use it when I need to shut off my brain. It's especially useful those nights when the ruminations are running rampant and I need to get to sleep.

On the bus.
Have a good one!

On the bus. Meditating on coffee with chocolate, hot milk and cinnamon. Seems counterintuitive, drinking coffee while trying to meditate. Furthermore I'm not awake enough to gather my thoughts so I can let them go.

Well done Stargazer, I'm glad Robert Fripp is still playing. I can remember as an 11 or 12 year old a teacher showing us all the album cover of In The Court Of The Crimson King and by the time I started listening to non chart single music they had mostly split up. I loved the title Larks Tongues in Aspic.

Glad you enjoyed your meditation class Purps. Anything that relieves stress without chemicals has to be a good thing.

I'm so fidgety, I have a really hard time meditating. A lot of discipline, which isn't my strong suit. Maybe I should try 5 minutes at a time. Sounds great Purps!
Happy to be here with you all! It's a HOT one today.

Hey Everyone
So I've had a tough time of it lately and been drinking on and off.

But today is day 1 for me (again) and hoping to do better than last time when I managed (nearly) 3 months. Wish me luck?!

LOL @ ants on a log. I've heard of it, never had it. Peanut butter is good on anything. ::nodding::

Jase, welcome back. Post here every morning and make your commitment to sobriety again. I hope you figure out what went wrong.

I'm on the bus. Every day I re-commit. It's important to me.

Welcome back Jase. It's important to remember it is always a day at a time.

I try to meditate before coffee. My mind starts racing afterwards, and it becomes a challenge to stay focused.

On the bus, coffee in hand.

Happy riding all!

Good to see you Jase, well done for sticking at it. Try and analyse what the circumstances were when you picked up in order to avoid it next time. Easier typed than done obviously.

Sending positive vibes your way PhoenixJ!

Jase, I've found that the sober bus rolls around everyday. Even if you don't catch it each day, it still comes round.
