Please Stay on the Sober Bus Part 47
On the Soberbus
Vik, sorry to hear a police officer was shot in the line of duty. It’s not good the dangers they have in their job.
I hope you received your prescription ok.
So where we off to today after Saou’s excellent choice yesterday. How about a nice drive to Cornwall. Their Cornish Pasties and ice-cream are delicious.

Sorry to hear the news about the policemen.
Mouse was caught in one night and released in the local industrial park.
We get mostly largeish spiders in the house, some small centipedes and pill bugs, the stink bugs stay outside. I never kill a spider, they are doing a good job.
I'm in for cornish pasties. What I really miss tho is steak and kidney pie. My mum use to make them. I haven't had one in ages in fact the last one I had was one of hers.
On the bus, thinking about pie.

On the bus, scrambled eggs on toast and coffee for one please (but anyone is welcome to join me)
A week or so ago I read parts of Australia were overrun with mice, it was mentioned on the Weekenders thread as well. I suppose they would be a non native species there.
I can confirm Cornwall is very picturesque, all smugglers coves and worked tin mines. Martine Clunes, who plays Doc Martin is a good actor, he's probably a bit typecast now which is a shame.
Mizz - I read somewhere that the reason Cornish Pasties are shaped like that was so that the miners could carry it by the crust with their dirty hands and break it off when they came to eat it so that they would not get the contents dirty.
There is even a Cornish language that only died out a few hundred years ago or something.
