Nice to sleep in on a Friday, even if it was only for an extra half hour.
They said on the news last night that out of all the United states and Canadian provinces, Manitoba has the second highest Covid infection rate right behind Alberta. We've now opened up vaccine eligibility to all adults.

The weather forecast has us hitting plus 29c on Tuesday! We recently bought one of those collapsible wagons in preparation for the beach this summer. We only went out twice last summer just for the day and it was a chore carrying everything.
Think I'm going to put up the gazebo this weekend. It's so very tempting to start planting stuff, but around here, we should wait until the last week of May to avoid frost. I do have a few plants ready that I have not managed to kill.

On the bus!
Last day of work this week! We have 3 University ceremonies taking place. I'm so happy for the graduates!
Lei's are flying out the door. Flower stand is filled. Its rock and roll time!
I feel like I need a vacation on an Island somewhere. Just me, the warmth, a sun hat, a bottle of water and some sunscreen. Listening to the Ocean. Not thinking about anything or anyone or anything....... or flowers....or people....
