Got off work early and headed to the grocery store for a few last minute items. Drove past my old liquor store... I counted 20+ people standing in line to get in (limited store capacity still in effect). Cold, 37*F, rainy. Had to think back at how desperate I was to acquire liquor, smuggle it in the house, drink it in secret (allegedly) and manage to dispose of the empties. My life basically revolved around the above routine.

No wonder my life was/is so disorganized. I didn't have time or opportunity for anything else!

Yep. I am familiar with that routine. Very relieved to not be playing that sad game today. Happy New Year, Notch!
