Back on the bus.... then ready for it to get dark here in California... but will be a while as it is only 3:35pm right now...
the sky is clear for now... but will have to see how the sky looks at night....
In the meantime I want to do a barbecue for everyone .......
I have burgers, Hot Dogs....and anything else you want me to cook up...... grill is hot...

Of course I fell asleep too early to see anything last night.....stressed about work, and it's not even a stressful type of environment; people just like to make it that way. Thanks everyone for helping me stay on the Sober Bus

Purplrks- I can very much relate to being stressed about work and its not even a stressful environment. I am always saying "This is not rocket science or brain surgery, people. We are not saving lives here."
On the bus.
This quarantine is almost over. You would think that I would have gotten more done?
I have found myself in a quarantine coma most days. I'm in a documentary watching mode. "Toe Tag Parole" was good. Its about a yard called "Yard A" where the prisoners are none violent and have many programs to help them rehabilitate. They have been given life without the possibility of parole. Some of the individuals were handed these sentences when they were young teens and its a bit heartbreaking. I learned a lot. The one take away is that our prison system here in the US needs an overhaul.

I saw the night sky last night ... the stars are so nice that I even saw the Christmas Star... soooo cool .....
Dont know if it will be out again... might go look tonight and see.....

The night sky didn’t disappointment last night. Loved the ‘Christmas Star’; sobering to think that it won’t be back for another 800 years. I wonder if the people of 2820 will find it as spectacular as those of 2020. I imagine that there will be all kinds of special personal viewing devices/telescopes available to the average man by then.

Ruthie's surgery went well and she is back to feeling frisky. Can't say the same for myself. Two straight days of clearing 30" of snow from two driveways and then testing 28 orchids for virus while still tending to Ruthie has wore me out a bit. I put on my snowshoes and started breaking trail out back. I didn't get real far. My legs & lungs just aren't what they used to be. It's going to take me a whole lot of trips to even get the longest loop broken. Well, if I do two a day I should be done by April or so - lol.
