88 months sober
I missed last month's reminder to myself and yesterday was yet another month. So I'm chugging along. I'm fortunate and thankful that I'm still sober. I have a job and my health is good. Many people suffering out there with not only Covid but with job loss and other things. I'm blessed. I can't remember the last time I thought about drinking and cravings are a thing of the past. It was a long and hard road for me to get here. I had many false starts and drank from early teens to my mid forties. I ended up with some health problems due to the drinking but nothing not manageable. I almost lost my marriage, I had endless legal troubles and my life was a mess. No more, peace and quite is the name of the game nowadays. I hope someone reading this will think twice about drinking and especiallynow around the holidays here in the states.
