One Month

Today is one month for me. Trying to deal with it day by day. Lots of stress I cannot avoid, mostly because I tried to keep myself completely stress free the first couple of weeks so I wouldn't freak out and head for the beer cure. But I finally had to emerge from my safe space and get stuff done. I'm dealing with it. I don't have any cravings and no depression. I'm starting to enjoy activities again, slowly but surely. Looking really forward to 60 days, something I have not done in over 10 years. I'm going to make it, I have to. One day at a time, I will make it.

Hi, TWB. Way to go!! That first 30 days are the most difficult - in my opinion - and you've got it behind you. Now just hang in there, like you say: "One day at a time". And each day gets better - but you already know that, I'm sure.
