Back when I was still a heavy drinker, not long before I entered sobriety, during the times I wasn't drinking I used to get severe pains in my upper legs, not sure if they were muscle spasms or whatever, but they made relaxing and sleep almost impossible and just another reason to reach for the bottle and get drunk again.

I wondered if anyone else experienced these and any ideas what they were?

I had some twitches and restless leg syndrome some when I was having the more severe withdrawals in the days that I drank heavily.

I could not walk proper for 4 years . I complained to the doc I see , he at last sent me to a surgeon . I had 2 arteries clogged . Had em fixed . Now I have another one clogged . Grrrrrrrrrrr . You should get checked .
