All the best on the health front Leigh and Suze.

Hoping for rain for you SunPen. Hoping for less rain for you stargazer.

This is the oldest VW caravelle - from 1952. It was found in a forest in Sweden and is now being restored. Right hand drive as Sweden used to drive on the left until 1967.

Stay safe, stargazer. Do you have a basement or windowless room in which to shelter if a tornado materializes?

Oh, that poor VW bus; it has seen much better days. I am glad that it is being given a new life.

Stargazer, something to take with you if you have to hide from Isaias:

ON the bus - good thing we have that accessible loading system. I'm sure other cities have it too. It's pretty cool, the whole bus "kneels" down hydraulically to allow the ramp to be close to the ground. It's great for grocery loads and luggage, too.

We have that
not that I expect to be using it again for at least a year, but yeah its good

Happy hump day!

I could easily get use to staying home full time.
I recently found a 6'x6' "shed in a box'' for half price. A local retailer had a pallet of them and the boxes were filthy dirty and faded. I have the perfect spot around the corner of the house I used to store junk that I never got around to throwing out. So that's my project for the rest of the week.

Glad you're keeping busy Dragon.

Had a wild weather day yesterday. Over six inches of rain in three hours. Septic tank flooded out with all the ground water but is usable today. Lost another tree in the back corner of the yard. Had a tornado hit fifteen miles above me, but thankfully in a more rural area than mine. There is a river near me that was running at three feet. Now it is at nineteen feet and well over its banks. The local park where I enjoy my nature walks is under six feet of water.

I'm ready for coffee and scrambled eggs.

Happy riding all!

The power of Mother Nature can be staggering, huh Stargazer? Six inches in three hours is a lot of rain. I am sorry to hear about your tree; it is so sad to see one go. Good to hear that your septic tank has recovered.

Dee

PJ, hang on buddy. You'll make it through. I was super triggered in early lockdown, I know how hard it is. I felt so trapped.

Stargazer, wow. I grew up in Florida and dealt with many hurricane events. Now I live on a river that occasionally jumps its banks, too. Water is pretty impressive! Hope everything settles down.

On the bus.

All the best PJ!

I had grilled mushrooms on toast this morning. Breakfast of champignons.

"How sharper than a Serpent's tooth is awakening without coffee" It pretty much says that in the Bible.
