Welcome tobthe Sober Bus JADIII!

We try to avoid crashing into pubs on our bus by going nowhere near them.

I had never heard the term, "Swan in," until a couple years ago while watching a British TV series. It may be a UK thing. I'm sure Sao thought of that when he posted that image, it's just he got to play my straight man.

SG, your place on the beach sounds wonderful. I think most of our beaches are still closed. I'm getting bored and a little crabby. It would be so nice to be able to get away for a few days, but it's not happening soon. I think CA may be afraid of the second wave. We were starting to reopen, but they are pulling back now. I know SoCal is having big problems and sending patients up here to be treated.. We've never been through a pandemic, so it's new ground for all of us. I'd rather be safe than sorry. After all I've been through, I don't want to die of Covid for pete's sake!! I still can't believe the people who go around without masks, although you're not allowed in anywhere without a mask, at least in my county.
Hope you all have a wonderful day and are coping well! It will get better, but some days do feel hard, esp while I'm still recuperating.
Love and peace to all and SG, I'm a little envious of your place at the beach. I hope your wife is feeling well and you are all having fun. Sounds heavenly.
Have a great day!

Morning gang, I feel like I could sleep the whole day. Was so tired last night, I napped. Still very tired this morning. Think I'll go curl up in the big ol' laz-y-boy in the back of the bus.

Did a four mile hike through a marshy State Park yesterday morning and saw a bunch of birds not local to where I live. And the biting insects were not too bad yesterday. Really trying to get out and about in nature, and not spend all my time on a packed beach. The beaches actually are not too bad. Most folks are keeping their six foot distance from each other.

Got in a seven mile walk along the town's promenade before most folks think about getting up after their long nights.

On the bus, coffee in hand!

Last time I had a foot injury I asked around and found a boot in my circle of acquaintances. As a matter of fact the last four bones I broke I didn't get them treated (wrist, metatarsal, two toes.) Just Xrays on the wrist. They do heal - can you borrow some crutches and wrap it tightly with Ace bandages? The trick is to stay off it - I'm sure you know. HUG.

At least online jigsaw puzzles don't require much walking.

On the bus!

My milk curdled when I put it in my coffee. It smelled okay, weird. I've never kept milk long enough for that to happen! Curse you, Covid. It is grocery day, so that's good.

I didn't think of the Swan in thing bim, I was playing slow man rather than straight man.

Trivia. I think the Queen owns all the swans in Britain. Not sure why that is.

I was cutting my backyard grass this evening when I bumped the fence with the mower. A few yellow jacket wasps came out from under it and one stung me! right on the front of my left ankle. Tomorrow I'm buying some foaming spray to get rid of them. I think I may have to attack it from the neighbors side.
