I struggled with the same problem! Why did I keep throwing it away when I had such a good life?! No one really knows why! That’s why alcoholism is so cunning, baffling, and powerful!
The answer to recovery from alcoholism is right in front of us! But it can seem obscure and doesn’t really jump out at us!
As simple and disturbing as it was, somewhere down the line I had to throw in having a spiritual awakening into my life to recover from alcoholism! That didn’t mean I had to be a church goer or becoming religious! It was simply asking God for help every day!
