Day 20. One more Day.
Day 20. One more Day.
If I get past tomorrow and that will be the first time in a few years I survived three weeks of sobriety.
Sleep is improving. I still get extremely tired and foggy after 5pm. I'm up plenty early, so it makes sense. Still feel quite bloated, drinking tons of water. I've taken a liking to fruit smoothies. I keep a water bottle on my nightstand and drink whenever I get up and I still wake up a bit parched. Taking a multi-vitamin plus I'm slowly doing away with processes food and I would eventually like to do away with most meat products for health reasons.
Lots of stress points right now. I have to write everything down. I discovered I have hypergraphia which is a compulsion to write. I understand this could be an effect of my bipolar. I've even been dabbling in poetry (don't tell anyone!). My faith has been huge to me as of late. My support system at home has gotten a bit better, as my wife and the children I think are learning to navigate around my bipolar cycles.
This is all.

Congratulations on your 3 wks. sober - we know you'll do it, Notch.
Things will continue to get better - in the beginning we're disoriented - but everything improves. Proud of you!
