Please stay on the Sober bus - pt.33
Our fire season is thankfully, slowly coming to an end. Most of the evil fires the world found out about in Dec/Jan are out- but some still burn in containment lines. Not surprisingly the Corona virus is now the headliner.
Thankfully, PJ, the fires are winding down. I was thinking about that the other day, as you so astutely said, we have other things in the news now.
I still can't believe they are still going in some places there. Prayers for injured people and animals. Fires can be extremely frightening.
Good to see you and I hope all is well with you, PJ. ♥♥♥

In Alan Bennetts play,' The History Boys' one of the characters describes history as "just one f***ing thing after another"
Your post reminded me of this quote
Is this a garage vacation Dragon or is the family escaping winter in Winnipeg for a week?
PJ, glad the fires are finally out of control. One of my employee's husband is from Oz and had family evacuated when the fires were lapping the back yard. Scary situation.
Now it is Corona virus. My grocery store set a one day sales record Saturday then broke it again Sunday. People are stockpiling water, pasta, soup and beans. We normally only see that when we are expecting a blizzard.
On the bus, coffee in hand.
