First week in the bag!

I can honestly say that was my first week sober in a long time, and my first Christmas sober in well over a decade. I definitely set some personal records. I'm making plans for the New Years holiday to keep myself out of trouble, and to keep myself productive in positive activities.

I'm starting to notice some improvements like better sleep, more sensitive sense of smell, my hands don't stick to everything and I'm not waking up feeling like a cat slept in my mouth. And that's just a start.

Wishing everyone a blessed New Year!

Congrats! After a week, I was most grateful that the constant sweating went away. Keep it going!

Congratulations on a week! And what a great time of year to accomplish it.
Cat slept in my mouth! That's hilarious.
Keep up the good work and stay occupied and aware over new year's holiday.
And remember, you never have to drink again.
Best to you.

That's awesome. This sober thing can be an extraordinary adventure if we're open to that idea and pay attention to what's going on. Great things are waiting up ahead in 2020 and beyond as long as you keep on the right track. Good going, Notch!
