I've never owned a car, the one I drive now is in Mr H's name. I didn't learn to drive until my late 30's. Before that I used to walk at least 5 miles a day, busing and walking to whereever I was going and coming from. I think the exercise did me a lot of good though I've never enjoyed walking, always very impatient to get to my destination. I used to be quite a brisk walker lol. I suppose I was relatively fit then too

Mine was a mustard coloured Mini - I think O posted a pic of it here once- my sister and I were given our parents old Morris Marina but we were both to ashamed to be seen in it. Marina was a good name for it as it got soaking wet inside every time it rained.
