Please stay on the Sober bus - pt.31
I will be offline from tomorrow, Friday, until Sunday. A friend of mine wants to ride 130km to an AA camp as a test run for doing cycling touring stuff- and asked me to be backup with my car. Apart from supporting her (not safe for anyone to be on a bike in rural SA- miles of nothing) it is an opportunity to get out of my comfort zone and experience new stuff. Who know? I might even enjoy the camp. Taking my bike, art sketching stuff etc. I could have gone light - but have packed more crap than I will use, but what the hey/ I have a medium sized old 4WD, which I intend to sleep in- a test run for me too, as if I tolerate it, I can then go down the South coast- sleep in my car and paint stuff for a few days at a time over Xmas.
Haha, hope you enjoyed your coffee purplrks
Wow, PJ, I love the sound of your weekend. Driving miles with no other traffic about . Not being alone as you have a friend with you, not having to worry about small talk coz she's on a bike. Sleeping in the car with the stars above you. Doing some sketching and art stuff and maybe a bike ride to refresh youself after a long ride. Perfect
Morning everyone I'm on
A bit cloudy this morning but enough blue sky to make a pair of sailors trousers, so that ok
