Excessive body odour

Well, there’s no easy way of saying it but I stink. I’m not drinking but I sweat loads. It’s embarrassing to be honest. Anyone with this problem got a timeline on when I could stop knocking people out with my B.O.

Hi Dexter. Maybe the sweating is a separate issue and not related to your drinking.
I would think about seeing a Dr, there are various treatments, sometimes it is even treated with Botox injections. Nothing ventured nothing gained.

I hope it improves soon. :)

I had to take several showers a day for a while.

For me things got better after about a month but I live in the sub-topics- I'm assuming you don't - your timeline might be shorter.

After the initial 3 days the sweating lessened....but continued up to two weeks. Suggest seeing a doctor if it continues...I did. Frequent sponge baths and a powdery anti-perspirant/deodorant work best. At about 7 weeks the excessive sweating I occasionally get is from hypoglycemia....I am on meds for diabetes.

It took awhile for the alcohol to get out of my body. It's truly IN us from head to toe, skin, pores....I had horrible night sweats for awhile and it was some weeks before the lessened and went away, as the nightmares eased to dreams then to decent sleep. I'm a pretty extreme case.

I also got all medical tests and stuff like my thyroid back on track once the alcohol was out of my body. Hydration and so on, and good dr care, and most importantly - staying sober...it all gets better. Keep going.
