Yep

You are going to do it.

Booze dumped, water drunk, and any food down yet?

Yes, booze is gone. But I would be lying if I said i didn't want to go for more.

That’s a pretty normal feeling at the end of a binge, yet ultimately unproductive.

How bout some distraction instead?

Your Big Plan was a lie.

I say, BS
But also true.

To do either of these things
You need baseline mental health
Or nerves of steel
Or, drinking gets worse than sobriety. I don’t have baseline mental health or nerves of steel, but I’ve got a **** addiction that abuses me and makes me start drinking at breakfast. It’s been 2.5 years and I still remember how awful it was.

Are you punishing yourself, O?

At any rate, I’m glad you’re alive, and posting. Sometimes people achieve “intermittent sobriety”. Sometimes people don’t achieve it at all. But you’re still a financially independent woman with your own heart and mind, kids out of the house, and there’s nothing stopping you from being you, and doing things how you do it. It is how it is.

Did you check in with work?

Hello, O, thanks for the summary, but I hoped you'd said you were posting the longer thesis you were compiling recently. I also have something to post for you, I'm digging it out. Please stay strong.

Hi O,

Sorry to hear about the slippage.

When you say you are done, do you mean for good or are you just taking a break? I think the assumption here is you mean for good but I thought I should ask, rather than assume.
