Purps, thank for the link to the Undies thread. That thread meant a lot to me my first year, and I frequented it often in my second year to help other newbies. I would hate to see that thread wither away. Toots has done an amazing job over the years mentoring folks there.

There are some mighty big ones out there. Going by what came up on Google, most of them seem to be Canadian or Australian.
Edit. For scale, there are people standing by the back wheel in case you miss them.

Thank you PJ and Sao. I'm feeling better today. Either nerves (I have a rather stressful life, but we all do in our own way, right?) or a 24 hour thing. Lord willing, it won't come back, but I do thank you all!! ♥
I'm on for sure, but like Suze, as nice as the stairs look, I think I'll at least have to stay on the bottom part. Those stairs do look a bit daunting.

Saturday morning ~ this afternoon I'm going to a fundraiser for the Humane Society.....the cost includes beer which I'm not too worried about; there will be other food and drink there too (It's at a restaurant/tavern) so I guess I just need to have my guard up in case the "F-it...Just a couple beers won't hurt" voice creeps in....Plus there will be adoptable animals there, which is what I'm looking forward to the most!

Purps, have a great time at the fundraiser. Remember, the animals need you sober. That's what I always think when I'm working with the animals and there is booze around. I'll be thinking about you and sending good vibes. It sounds like it will be really fun though, I hope you have a lot of fun! ♥♥♥

Thanks guys.....I should be okay, just staying on my guard....I made sure to eat, plus I just took a nap, and I plan on driving too; a friend of mine is going with me & she might have one or two (she's one of those normies Lol) ~ Anyway, I'll check back in afterwards.....staying on da bus!

Yup the Notting Hill Carnival is with us again. Along with friends I used to go every year. We still do but stick strictly to the fringes, no one wants to be the daft old white guy lured into some embarrassing dad dancing The weather forecast is good for a change this year, they have been really unlucky the last few years. It is 60 years old this year.
