Still going

It has been quite awhile since I have posted here. I just celebrated 14 years of sobriety and I dont regret one single day of it. The past 5 years have been difficult. I have had 4 heart attacks, 5 stents. My last heart attack was September 9th 2018. I actually died twice. Thankfully they got me back. This one has been the hardest emotionally. I still have my good days and bad days. But the main thing is I am still sober.

Goodatcha for the 14 years! I know what you mean, I have never regretted not drinking. I have definitely regretted drinking. Recovery has shown me that serenity doesn't mean the absence of storms, but it can mean peace in the midst of storms. Thanks for your share. Peace.

Bravo! 14 years is awesome, a huge accomplishment. I've had some very tough times during recovery (27 years) and at least have tools for coping and strong support. A big hug!
