Still sober-Fee like a new man!
Hello all!
Sorry I haven't been online for a while but, life is what happens when you are busy making other plans - "John Lennon"
Anyway, I am a sober man! I am working! I am happy!
I hope ya'll have a great day!

Well done!! How long you been sober for if you don't mind me asking? Today is my 65th day.
It's nothing to be jealous about. This stuff ain't easy. I have been on and off drinking for 52 years, and now, at this age, my body gave me some BAD signs. I put it down for good. I have no choice, It isn't one day at a time for me anymore...It's like you say "Don't effin' drink". It solves NOTHING- Keep on keeping on

Yes they did! A combination of help from this web site, my body telling NO MORE, and my doctor telling me my next relapse could be my last. I think I used those words on here once before, but now they came from my doctor.
Thank you! I am not saying what I am doing is an easy task. I am lucky. As I said, my body was telling me something is seriously wrong. Some people don't get a warning. Plus, when my Dr. told me it was a matter of living or dying, well, that was enough put it down for good. I WILL see my granddaughter graduate High School in 4 years, and I WILL see her walk down the isle if that is in her plan. Peace to you and all reading.
