Good to hear. Those first few days are so hard, no doubt about it.

11 days is great, and you didn't give in. I know how hard that was! Don't let any thoughts throw you off. One day at a time.

Hi BanAlcohol.

I am bumping this thread because I'm curious as to how you are getting on, if that is okay with you of course? I'm currently on day 48, I've still got a few little squiggles I need to work out with health anxiety wise, but I feel I'm on the right track.

our first year sober is often compared to a roller coaster.....ya gotta learn to ride the ride and just not pick up and create, one day after the next, a sober life for yourself!

Want to strongly apologise for not posting here for ages, I have been to the ER like 40 times since, constant panic attacks, I am having better days but to be honest with you all I am not in a good way.

My health is fine physically and I have even had a CT scan of my brain as I have been experiencing confusion and like I am living in a dream world for about 3 weeks now, very hard to explain.

3 months sober on Monday, I won't touch alcohol again, I just don't know why I feel the way I do but I have been told it can take up to a year for the brain and body to recover.

Doctors think I have dissociation / mental breakdown

I hope you are all well and sorry, honestly for not being here for ages

Good to hear from you BanAlcohol

I'm sorry you're still suffering BA but staying sober can only help in the long run. Hope things start to look up for you with the panic attacks
