I wont lie I'd like someting for the stress of it all. something to calm me down all the worries over the whoel thing and the social interaction with family just eats at me.
But i sure as heck dont want to drink. I'm very greatful to not be dealing with that on top of it all.
But are they easier to get through? i dunno probably not really. I dont think booze is the answer however. For me its just a tough time of the year that i gotta get through. Thankfully its done now! and i made it. Every year i just wanna get to dec 26th. I wish i could enjoy it more. I just never really do.
I'd say the best part tho was i got a hug from my oldest daughter when she opened her gift. I love that she doesnt give those out very often!.

If we are comparing drinking from when things started spiralling downwards then it's an easy yes. But do I long for 5 years ago when I had a constant good buzz going all Xmas between drinking in the evenings and long walks / golf in the day time then I'd say not even close. But the problem is those days are over and they are never coming back.
