Hi ya'll, still here

Thank you. That's how to start this thread. I've been through intense treatment, mostly for mental support but it never would have worked if I still drank! There's no magic pill, no knight in shining armor, just each day. I'm sober, coping, struggling still but the sun keeps coming up and I get out of bed right along with it.

Thanks Dee, I respect you and your recovery and wisdom. Things aren't going to be perfect but the sun keeps coming up. Another day, right?

A little piece of constructive advice, start putting perfection or anything for that matter before your sobriety, and it will be the second thing you'll lose after your sobriety...
