Wow! I’m late jumping in but that is awesome! I’m also married to someone who didn’t/doesn’t think I had a drinking problem and who himself drinks heavily in our home every day. Hasn’t been easy. But I want a better life more than I want the false relief of drinking. I just passed 9 months. Good luck to you!

My husband is an amazing person. He recognizes that I am very hard on myself when I do get drunk. And hates when I feel bad about myself because of how he himself views me. So he supports my desire to quit drinking because he knows it’ll emotionally help me. He himself has for the most past quit as well! I feel blessed to have him by my side.
Not sure how or when this happened, but apparently I’ve been drink free 104 days. And boy have I had my opportunities. Parties, holidays, game nights, balls, galas... but kiddie cocktails is my drink of choice. Crazy.
