Day 11 here.

Still relatively early days for me, but I am proud of myself, since I was drinking on pretty much a daily basis for nearly a year.

I haven't liked keeping track of days in the past, but I think that's the AV trying to discourage me, saying "You know you'll end up drinking again so why bother?"

So like the Godsmack song says, I need to "realign".

TWO WEEKS TODAY!

I have had compliments left, right and centre about how well and healthy I look. One friend who I haven't seen in about a month even asked if I had had Botox done because my face looks completely different! This morning I even noticed my cheekbones are coming back, haven't seen them in a while!

I don't miss that horrible poison at all. If I ever get a craving, which I know is just pure habit and the AV trying to lure me back, it disappears within a few seconds. I simply tell it "ah, shut up!" and away it goes.

There are NO benefits to booze and a list about a mile long for the pros of being sober.
