Fantastic. Well done - you did it. You recognized you were teetering, you reached out, made a plan, took right actions and you didn't drink.

That's how it's done.

We're really glad you're here.

Stopping by the package store may seem like an easy to check out emotionally, but you would undoubtedly pay a steep physical, mental, spiritual and emotional price for doing so.

I wish you the best in court tomorrow.

Please keep us posted.

MovingForward1, I just read this thread in my office in Australia. WOW!
The last few hours were so hard for you and you didn't pick up. Kudos to all who replied and prayed. Their advice is awesome and the fellowship right here - amazing.
I could skip down the street now I'm so happy. Not only for you Moving Forward1 but the community. You're amazing.

MovingForward1,
Just want to say that I’m very proud of you for finding the courage and strength to stay sober. Wise decision to start posting on SR and reaching out for help. SR has been my outlet and beacon of hope for the part three days straight. Wishing you all the best! Please let us know how things are with you. Keep your head up and know that you are not alone!

Thanks everybody. I ended up going to a second meeting today too I just think I needed it.
I'm worried about court tomorrow, I don't even know if I'm supposed to be there or if it's been rescheduled but I'm not going to risk it so I'll show up. At least I'll show up sober.

I can't say enough how much this site has helped me today.

Glad to hear it MF1, 2 meetings is a lot better than none ;-) I think showing up just in case at court is a good idea too. Worst case scenario you get a nice walk in for the morning!

It turns out the date did get rescheduled. It's kind of a relief and kind of a stress. I really would just like this over with so I can move on. But I'm off to my meeting so hopefully that'll help me chill out. I really appreciate all the support.

Oh, good. Glad the day wasn't too stressful.

I hope your meeting brings you some little nuggets of hope.
