Straight outta detox....who am I?
Well my detox session has ended and I don't know who I am!! I've ate like a pig and slept like a baby. I am so glad I made the decision to go even though my mind is still foggy and I'm full of anxiety.
Tomorrow I enter my extended stay at a rehab facility here in Ky. I have till noon tomorrow to check in!!
Thanks to everyone for the support!

Welcome back!! So good to see you! I'm glad is was a good experience for you.
Just take each day one at a time. I was foggy-headed for a few months, and was very emotional, too. Would cry at the drop of a hat. Those things will get better.
Congratulations!!!

It's normal to not know who you are in the beginning. It's very bewildering. You showed a lot of courage and grit to stick to your decision to get through detox. You're doing awesome. Keep putting one foot in front of the other. It can take a very long time but everything gets sorted if you stay sober!
I asked that same question straight out of rehab.
You're someone who wants to live. All it takes is a willingness to show up everyday and an action to keep moving forward.
The rest will fall into place.
Just remember to keep things very simple. Stay out of your head and if you need help make sure you ask for it.

Completely normal. This is all new to you, so some anxiety is to be expected. But, you will be with a lot of other people who are doing the same thing for the first time. Your anxiety will lessen as you go through it. We will be cheering you on!
I'm currently in rehab and in many ways I feel like I'm a little kid again learning how to do basic things. It really throws you but in a good way. I feel a new sense of hope I didn't think was possible.
Keep going and reach out to sober people for help when you feel lost.
