Today In 1962, Marilyn Monroe sang Happy Birthday to President John F. Kennedy. Yesterday was Purps Birthday, so here you go Purps, (and to anyone else celebrating a birthday). If I could, I'd have a big cake carried out for you too.

How fun that sober bus boat is!!! It looks like something out of a James Bond movie!!!
I'm ready to join the concert with Purps!!!
Time, welcome back!!!
Everyone else, good to be in your company!!!
Me, I've just been working a ton of hours as well as working late for the extra $$$!!!
But the most important thing is I'm staying sober and I'm with my sober bus family!!!
Speaking of which, I celebrated 26 years of continuous sobriety last week!!!

When I got up this morning while making coffee I saw a dragonfly on my patio and I just stood there watching him, I hadn't see one in awhile.
So... I just looked up dragonfly and:
What does it mean when you see a dragonfly?
The dragonfly, in almost every part of the world symbolizes change and change in the perspective of self realization; and the kind of change that has its source in mental and emotional maturity and the understanding of the deeper meaning of life.
Anyway, it felt good to see him and learn about him.

That is a unique looking dragonfly in that picture, isn't it. That particular picture came with the quote. When I was googling there are so many different color varieties. I enjoyed seeing them all. The one I saw this morning was with green and silver and blue colors. It reminds me a bit of butterflies, the really pretty and unusual ones seems so rare and seldom seen anymore, but when I do see them they are also so enjoyable to watch and appreciate.
