struggling today

I just came from the hospital were they were working on one of my employees that got badly injured today. he broke a rib has a bleeding spleen and Im freaked out, it wasnt his fault a piece of equipment failed and he was in the way. I want to get into a bottle bad not going to but it is tempting

Sorry about your employee. A visit and taking care of things is much more important than the bottle. He deserves your best.

I understand how you must be feeling but shut that AV up - your employees welfare is way more important that your addictions need to get drunk.

I am so sorry to hear about your employee; hope that he will heal well, soon and completely.

One of the best things that you can do is stay sober; your mind will be clear to make important decisions and be the best you can be for him.

Will be thinking of both of you.

thank you guys I m doing okay now. went up and saw him everything is good he is going to be okay just sore for a couple of month. and I m doing better also. drinking would only have given a couple hour respite. and then 6 months gone

It helps me to imagine drinking. How any bad situation would instantly become 100 times worse. You can show up for someone who needs help sober but you can't when drunk.
