3 years today
Yes it's true! And possible 😊
I don't post much these days because the internet where I've moved to is really slow and painful to use.
But I wanted to let you know I've made it to 3 years sober and I'm pretty proud.
In 3 years I've never felt better or had more respect for myself, I got out of a toxic and damaging relationship and I'm managing just fine.
Folks around me have got used to me being the non drinker and don't question it anymore. I've also noticed that most people don't actually drink that much and don't think about it all day every day, a revelation !
I still love having no hangover even after 3 years!
I'm so grateful for the support from this forum, especially in the first 12 - 18 months it was really key daily support keeping me focussed on the best life change ever.
Keep at it guys, it's one decision you won't ever regret.
