Mind/brain in pain

I was wondering if anyone else has something like this or an insight into it. I feel like my mind/brain is almost constantly in some pain. Sometimes it is not there, and sometimes it is mild. I told this to a sponsor once years back and he said it sounds like fear. I see that. It feels like a real nagging problem, even like a psychological pain rather than a physical problem. But i can't necessarily identify the underlying psychological issue. Unresolved trauma? guilt? I don't know. I'll ask my Higher Power to take it from me.

Classic early sobriety.

Breathe and commit. It will get better with more time.

Early sobriety can certainly throw your mind for a loop, so to speak - but if you feel you have an underlying psychological issue go ahead and get it checked out. A session or two with a counselor can probably reveal a lot and help ease your mind.
