5 years sobriety today
Well folks by the grace of God I've been 5 years sober today. The last year or so of my drinking I began to pray for help. I was miserable. Sick all the time. Drunk constantly. Suicide was a viable option. I couldn't handle the pain anymore. I finely accepted God's help and haven't had a drink since.

You fine folks here have been instrumental in my sobriety. I don't attend AA. You guys are my support group. I just want to thank you all for everything. I hope I've been some help for some of you as well.

Last but not least, if your new to sobriety please give it a chance. You will never regret it. I can honestly tell you that the last 5 years have been the best 5 years of my adult life. Hands down!
