Super bowl bash tomorrow
We always have a group of friends over, lots of beer, bbq and very tasty things to eat.
One of our friends just told my husband "hey, I am not drinking tomorrow, and I'm sorry in advance for being boring."
He said "that's no problem, sassys not drinking tomorrow."
Then he said to me oh hey, so and so isn't drinking tomorrow, so I told her that you wouldn't be drinking tomorrow."
I actually wanted to laugh. True, I am not drinking tomorrow. Because after taking my entire life, mind, psyche, body and soul and turning it 180 degrees to change literally everything about my thinking and my reality to stay sober for the last 4 months.....yeah, I'm not drinking tomorrow! Lol.

I'm not drinking tomorrow either. The game however will be an excuse to make a huge pile of nachos and drink a ton of diet dr. pepper
I will not watch the half time show though, that would surely drive me back to drinking.

I never watched the football. I just drank the beer. Tomorrow I'll have food I don't normally eat, but mostly it's about cleaning the house, like it is every year....
Definitely helps I couldn't care less who wins. If my team was in it I might have a problem. If somebody held a gun to my head and made me choose I would have to go with Philly. Hope that doesn't **** off any Pats fans. I always root for the underdog...

Let's see. Choices.... Drink lot of beer Sunday night while watching the Super Bowl.... wake up hung over and feeling s***ty tomorrow morning. Just in time for another week at work. No memories of the second half of the game....
NOT!!!
NOT!!!
The ladies like watching Tom Brady. I like watching Tom Brady lose
(Eagles fan by default)
Anyway, this SB Sunday will definitely be different from the last for me. I'll be able to vividly remember the ending
P.S. Sorry Sassy --close to thread derailment here
Keep up the good work ss. Your doing fine.
Yeah this Superbowl thing is crazy. Every year I had to get drunk at so some lame party to hoot and holler for some team I couldn't care less about. How dumb was that? Total waste of mind body and spirit. This game and every other get together I have now are completely enjoyable. Not boring but sane. What a relief.
Great thread, thanks!

Folks, we can certainly have fun with the SB, but please remember that we want to remain respectful of each other and keep our content family friendly. I understand that sports rivalries provoke strong emotions, but let's keep it clean please :-)
