My screen name has multiple meanings: dogs, rock music, meditation and cool cartoon characters :D

Count me in too! Another weekend approaching and I don't want to repeat the last one!

Thanks everyone for making the Soberbus such a fun experience :)

That sounds interesting, thank you for sharing. :thanks Is it ok if I keep calling you purple? :)

The sober bus IS a fun experience. :grouphug:

It required constant attention and unfortunately, after I got back home from the hostpital, infection had set in. Eventualy he stopped eating because of the pain and started waisting so I had him put to sleep.

Thank you for sharing, He had a hard time himself, sounds like he had a good home with you and good that you rescued him. :grouphug:

Loving our Sober Bus!

Aww! That's sad about your Water Dragon.

Time2 my Avatar name comes from coachbuilder Jacques Saoutchik who built some beautiful cars in his Paris factory. I was briefly a panel beater (auto body shop) myself and have always been interested in it.

This Bucciali dates all the way from 1930 but still looks good.

So interesting saoutchik, this sent me on a Google search earlier today. Beautiful classic cars!

I am glad you shared this, it gives so much more meaning to our names. :tyou

Time2--My screen name comes from my old poison of choice the beer Steel Reserve 211, the high octane variety. It did a number on me over the years but ultimately it lead me here to SR and these fine folks. I have not had a drop since March 5th 2017.

Have a great weekend all!

My mother would say to 'purple' was to pass gass. ;^>

Ha now that's funny, I'm going to start using that term with my ten year old son.

Ugh, I shudder thinking of some of the beers I have had over the years, not for taste, just for the lift off. Thank you for sharing your screen name, and WOW, your coming up on a year, that is fantastic SteelRes! :You_Rock_

hmm, I better not call her that then. :Dance7:

I love how words have different meaning in different parts of this world. I've learned a lot lately about that, sometimes even embarassing myself using wrong ones. :lmao

Poor little Dragon buddy....you took the best care of him that you could.

Oh and I don't mind at all being called Purple, especially after how Dragon's Mom described it LOL :lmao:

Thanks Time2--it's been a long road, woke up that day March 5th and said enough is enough already and quit.

I wanted to say an extra thank you. I came home and the AV was chattering up a storm in my head. I came here and knew I wanted to read our thread and post, and since there were so many conversations here, and I wanted to respond back and then you were still here "live" posting even more, YOU ALL really helped me to silence the beast! I am sitting down now to eat my dinner so I am safe, I was starved and anxious and tired when I got home. So thank you my fellow Sober Bus Riders for helping me ride out my AV Wave tonight till it went silent. :tyou :grouphug:

It's 19° right now and that sure beats the below zero temperatures we have been having...when it gets in the 30's it feels like spring...

Purplrks3647 02-09-2018 03:10 AM

LOL I'm a horrible host when my family from Michigan comes to visit....to me it's cold and they wanna go to the beach!

STDragon 02-09-2018 03:37 AM

Sometimes it's in the beholder.... I have a picture of my kids in their bathing suits playing at the beach next to my wife all bundeled up in her winter coat and scarf!
