Don't think I will live through the night.
Rob,
There is no need to be a religious person in AA. The deal with a Higher Power is whatever you think it is - Mother Nature being a perfect manifestation.
Also it's awesome that you have lots of support, but there is nothing like being in the midst of people who 100% understand. Like here, but in person. Can you imagine?
I say give it a try. Go to a couple of meetings and then decide if it is or isn't for you. What is there to lose? Seriously.
O

yeah she is right, and I am trying my best to be happy with "boring". Life is boring most of the time, but that's life. I ****** up after the super bowl and have been beating myself up ever since. It wasn't bad in terms of amount, but anything at this point is a setback. I'm back on track and still reading the boards and talking to people. Wish it would stop raining here for a minute. Hope ya'll are staying strong.
yeah rain tough guy lol. See round here you lose cars and houses when it rains too much. I never really got over the 2016 flood. They are putting in so many new developments without proper infrastructure in place first. It is displacing so much water...the 1000 year flood is now the 10 year flood around here. I really haven't recovered from the 2016 flood, almost a ptsd thing especially knowing it could happen any time again.
So I will take your light dusting of snow with freezing rain for 1000 Alex.

Yeah, floods are no joke.
Neither is ice. It's terribly destructive, too.
Glad I went to my AA meeting, though. Had dinner at Texas Roundhouse, as usual Wednesday routine. The cutest and most pleasant waitress serving . . . that was nice.

Dee, if you can delete that monstrosity of a pic/post above that would be great. I can't figure out how, had no idea it would be so large.
Had a good work day, nice weather no rain. Feeling good about being back on track. Very thankful for all the support here.
Just curious, what part of Australia are you in? I have been to Perth a couple times, Adelaide and Melbourne. Also Hobart Tasmania. I love that country, my favorite female singer by far is Sia, you guys just need to stop making the english language so much harder than necessary.
