60 days today

Can't quite believe it. Iv had quite a few freak outs but still continuing my path to a better life. Yes its hard but if you want it enough something will give you the strength not to put alcohol into your body. As I have heard alot here it gets easier with time.

60 days free from blackouts, knowing where I have been and what iv been doing. Not waking up in sheer terror, being sick all day long, shaking and cold sweats. That's a gift.

Thanks guys, We all inspire each other that's the great thing. There will be dark days but they pass. Learning so much about myself since becoming sober aswell nice things about who I really am without liquid courage it's really interesting. Soberness rocks! Once you get the hang of it that is lol Rome wasn't built in a day!

60 days free - it feels so good. I didn't learn to cope with anything by staying numb. I'm so glad we woke up & learned to live.

Your right Stayingsassy priceless gift! Feel so positive for the future, anyone who is finding it tough keep going it gets amazing. Don't listen to that voice in the head it's trying to fool you. Something has clicked into place for me this week my eyes are open and my heart is happy 😊

Keep going introvetd, I have tried 2 other times before myself but it feels different this time. A peaceful life is waiting for us we just need to want it enough. I feel so excited for the future something Iv never felt before. Keep strong and whatever happens just do not put that poison in your body no matter how much you want it. post here alot, it's great people understand us here.
Lpg also the difference this time is iv put myself in therapy and went to aa to help me understand why I can't drink, maybe trying these will help you too. Hope that helps
