This evening I went to an AA meeting at 6:00pm and the speaker had a sobriety date of 1-1-2008 - 10 years ago on New Years Eve she was in the hospital on her last drunk. It was a great success story.
Tomorrow I will start the New Year with 8:00am mass and a 9:30am AA meeting.
Life is good when you hang with the winners.

Haha. I love this post. I've gotten in the sober habit of waking up early and taking a walk to go grab some coffee. It still AMAZES me when I see all the awake people, clearly not hungover one bit. It's like a whole other society I have joined.

I had a nap and am now bored but watching the Russia/Sweden hockey game.
Will be going to bed early.
Would love to take a walk or something to get rid of the boredom but it is -40c and the gym is closed for holidays.
AA tomorrow at 8pm. Will be 4 days in a row for me!
