i had a struggle not so much with my concept of God, but my perception. what helped me tremendously was conversation with a good friend in recovery- sharing my thoughts with him. quite a few times he had me saying,":huh! never thought of it that way."
which he replied a few times,"you are free to think of God however ya want, just as long as your thoughts arent that youre God."
