5 hours left of 2017! Feeling abit sad...it is just the letting go of the past...maybe it is the relief that a rough year is finally over.

About two hours to go here. Went to the book store, then out for an early supper, watched a movie & played cribbage. All with my family. Don't think I'll make it to midnight.

Good morning gang, welcome to 2018. Back in the 1970's or 80's I can remember calculating how old I will be in the year 2000. (That's also the same year I stopped counting birthdays). Thinking about it makes me feel old, but I'm not that old. I started my new sober life late in 2016 and turning the clock back a little for every day I'm sober.

The Sober bus is rolling thru you neighborhood, won't hop on board and join us?

I have to agree. I've been sleeping in until nearly 8am practically every morning this last week. Not looking forward to using the alarm clock and getting up early for work. I still have a couple of weeks vacation from 2017 to use up maybe I'll give myself some long weekends in the coming months.
