Welcome to SR Dandan. A lot of us have been there, it is definitely possible to change though, Have you ever quit before? If you are drinking 24/7 you may want to speak with a doctor or detox facility before stopping completely, withdrawals can potentially be severe in extreme cases.
Yes - talk to your doctor.
Also, getting to some AA meetings would be useful. You can google the details of your local meetings easily. Just put in 'AA meetings placeneame' in a search. As someone looking for sobriety you can go along to any 'open' or 'closed' meeting (open just means it's open to people who have their own probs with alcohol AND people who don't but need info for other reasons). The meetings are free apart from a voluntary contribution - but the first meeting you wouldn't even need to do that. You don't need to sign up or register or even give anyone your full name. You wouldn't even have to speak at all unless you wanted to.

Hello Dandan and welcome!
You're here and that's a testimony to your sincere desire to quit.
Many of us have been where you are now and are many years sober.
I also think talking to a doctor about all the options available to you, so you can create a firm launching pad for sobriety. A good sobriety plan is like pasta - it's at its best when it sticks!
Keep coming here, read other posts, and post as much yourself. It's a great support outlet here.
