91 days
Hi all! Today is 91 days sober for me. I have to say I am very happy I made the decision to get sober. I have mainly been focused on my issues that caused my drinking to get so out of control. I attended for the past 2 months Celebrate Recovery at my church and it helped a lot too being around people on a similar path. Last week someone not healthy from my past showed up there so I am now looking at a different place for a meeting. I think my biggest challenge now is just dealing with my issues without alcohol. Kinda intense at times. I went through a very painful divorce this year that really triggered my addiction. I finally 91 days ago was so sick and tired of being drunk every day for so long, having to have a drink to feel "normal" in the morning. My soul was tired, and I changed my life that day and am determined to keep moving forward sober. I think of myself as a small miracle now lol. God definitely woke me up. I am only 35 and hope I continue to heal.

It only gets better.
After 27 years of drinking every single day, today I am 394 days sober.
Looking back to when I was 90 days sober I was still a total mess compared to today.
Again, it will only get better - stay the course.

Thanks for the encouragement, yea I can already feel stronger after only 3 months. Its just dealing with my issues sober that get hard but I now know that was my problem.
That 90 day mark is a milestone. Now your moving pass that. It's called progress and your doing it. Keep reaching out for support and stay busy. Take action and don't slow down. Physically you should be better by now. Work on the mental and spiritual aspects of sobriety. Use every tool you can get your hands on.
And yes you are a miracle. God has a plan for us. Dying from alcoholism isn't one of them!!
