Today will be good
Today will be good
Morning all,
Feeling stronger and more determined as everyday passes. I've been so sick all week but think it's starting to pass. I don't feel as miserable and almost feeling positive.
This time will be different, it feels different. Tried quitting quite a few times In the past. I have a quiet spell at work today so I think on my break I'm going to try a meeting for the first time, I want to put this plan into action. What happens when you go to a class do you have to let someone know your new.
Hope everyone's well have a nice day.

Sound like a good way to start the day Lpg....and glad to hear you are making an earnest effort to put a plan in place. No need to say anything if you don't want to when you go to a meeting, just show up and listen if you like!

Yes life does continue to get better.
I am almost 13 months sober and I find that when I feel really good (sometimes too good) I then have a slight setback and have a period of feeling bad again (going through one of those periods now).
But as time goes on each setback isn't as bad and doesn't last as long - plus I now have the coping skills and support that I didn't have before.
Sobriety is always a work in progress and something we have to work at - it don't come easy.
