Been reading about this drug and it's ability to cure addictions.

Has anyone tried this stuff?

If you use the search function, you'll find quite a number of threads on Baclofen.

The consensus seems to be that while there is no magic pill that will "cure" addiction, for some people, medications like Baclofen can be a useful adjunct to a comprehensive recovery plan.

There is no cure for addiction but there are programs of recovery.

To my knowledge baclofen is helpful for withdrawal symptoms, not the addiction process.

My alcoholism was a disease of my soul. Even when I was at my deepest depths and a substance was suggested by someone desperate to help me, somehow a voice came to me telling me that I couldn't treat one substance with another substance, that would be a band-aid solution.
