Please stay on the Sober Bus -- pt.8
Congratulations Dragon! Turning one is a really big deal. You keep doing what you're doing, hang on to your seat! Life gets really good--it also gets real--but then it's gets really good again.
About the 80s, don't remember a whole bunch of the early 80's--did my heaviest drinking then. And I had the big hair, thank you very much. I should have owned stock in hair spray! I'd be sitting pretty right about now.

Thanks everyone. It sure feels good. This past year has been good for me in many ways and I have many reasons to be greatful for my sobriety. This biggest is being present for my Daughter while she struggles thru depression and anxiety. I'm not particulalry religious but sometmes you got to wonder at how things manage to work out the way they do.
I'm checking in a bit early today because Mrs. Dragon and myself are going out to a comedy show. Another sober first....

I've got it on my IPod too ~ back in the day my bff and I would dress up as GnR and make videos....thank goodness it was before the internet/social media and the tapes have been destroyed. We were pretty good, though!
