Forum Leaders

With the gift of hindsight I am in complete awe of how generous The Sober Recovery forum leaders truly are. Regardless of how tiresome and repetitive the questions and comments I have raised during my more than two years of sobriety I have always received a thoughtful response. Sober Recovery played a huge part in my sobriety as I did not go the AA route. By extension the forum leaders did a superb job in supplying the framework for me to do so. I just want to make sure all of you guys out there no how truly appreciated you are! God Bless!

I agree, although I think Dee must be a devised human construct. No one can have that degree of tolerance.

I agree.

This is an extremely fun place to hang out and discuss recovery-related matters.

I still think of myself as a "member" of SR more than anything to be honest. Trying to help others to the best of my abilities helps me through my recovery as well. The thank you's are very much appreciated by me and I also thank all the other mods, greeters, admins and members who spend their time here each and every day. There is no way I could have become the person I am today in regards to staying sober if SR was not around for me.

I was a moderator and then an admin on a v-bulletin forum for years that was about half the size of this one, so I know the amount of time that goes into it.

I'm very thankful for our mods and admins.

What a wonderful post, talkinandwalkin.
When I first signed on here 10 yrs. ago, I had no intention of staying around this long. I found myself surrounded by warmth, encouragement, and hope - it got me sober & kept me that way. Not sure where I'd be without all who post here - mods & members alike.

I too want to express gratitude. I lurk hard and don't post often but love coming and hearing personal journeys towards recovery. I'm coming up on 2 years and remember coming here at the very beginning of my recovery. It has helped me more than anything else as I too did not take the AS route. Dee and admins..much appreciation for your dedication. You guys are champions.

I couldn't agree more. The work of the forum leaders and admins saw me through some very frightening times... Your patience, diplomacy, and fierce support gave me hope when I didn't think it was possible. Thank you so, so, so much.
