6.14 weeks sober 😁

I have 43 days today...life is pretty good despite some SERIOUS ups and downs, I'm doing it!
Thank you everyone here...your support has been really amazing. This probably wouldn't have happened without you guys and my AA Family.
I'm so thankful that the obsession to drink is seemingly gone. The thought of a drink scares me. Withdrawling? I shudder to think.
A DRINK WOULD RUIN EVERYTHING.
It never resolves anything. It only makes everything MUCH worse.
Very grateful.
Have a good day everyone!!
Jules

Good one Jules.
Whenever I am feeling really stressy- I ask that question about any 'comfort' activity- such as eating, coffee, exercising to exhaustion...will it make the problem go away?

Thanks all...
Yea, salted caramel brownies seem to do the trick 😉
They aren't doing much for my waist but I'll take it. Beats the alternative!!

Way to go, Jules. Keep it up - if things ever get dire, just remember how great you felt when you were on Week 6. You've got a real chance now! Keep your goals manageable and realistic, and remember that no matter what if you do not drink today you are a winner.

Thank you!
It is really unreal, I'm doing it! Sometimes I want to pinch myself.
Feel so much better. So proud and happy.
