Good morning everyone. Vacation to Mexico was fabulous but glad to be back on the sober bus with all of you.
Took some legwork (literally walking and walking in intense heat and sun) but we found an AA meeting.

Saoutchik, no, wasn't tempted. During the check-in, we were offered a shot of tequila. "No thank you" is a complete sentence.
Two nights later, again I had to say no thank you--twice! We were at a organic farm learning how to make tortillas and different salsas when asked to work for awhile at the tequila station. No frigging way (in my head). A firm "no, I'll stay at the salsa table, thank you" was all it took.
Let's all have a great sober day on this wonderful sober bus.

Good morning everyone, let get this bus rolling shall we. Come join us for a day on the sober bus.
Speaking of scary worlds, have you ever heard of North Sentinel Island? It's an untouched island with a tribe living on it that will apparently kill anyone trying to make contact.

Purp, it's not resisting, really. Having worked step one, I know I am truly powerless--amount doesn't matter: one drink or a thousand. Having worked step two, higher power has restored me (mostly) to sanity. And especially, having taken step three--and renewing it everyday--my life is no longer my own. God is in charge.
I'm on the sober bus for good--one day at a time. Glad to be in this bus with a fine bunch of fellow trudgers.

Welcome aboard the Sober Bus SteelRes!
Dragon I think if anything going to Cambridge made me feel even less smart than I already do, all around me people were having conversations that were way over my head.
I shall cross North Sentinal Island off of my bucket list.
