Ginger ale - straight

Hi everyone. I just woke up and felt so thirsty... The first thing I thought of was alcohol but then I said no, you cannot. So I got ginger ale. Being sober isn't easy but it's so much better than anything else!

I used to get a glass of ginger ale as a kid, when I had an upset stomach...haven't tasted it for years...

Haven't had a soda in nearly 3 years. My wife and I tend to go for a lime seltzer, though.

Cranberry ginger ale, yum! I'm not a soda drinker but am planning to get some as a special treat with some of those dishes that I used to drink alcohol with

I rarely drink anything other than water or coffee, hot tea...but sometimes you cannot beat an ice cold ginger ale or a Coke.
I think it definitely helps to be present to enjoy these simple pleasures.
Personally I can't wait until I treat myself to a giant steamy bowl of spaghetti and an icy Coke. Maybe Sunday. Till then I'm really just enjoying the crisp crunchy cold salads I seemingly cannot get enough of lately.

Add some strawberry ice cream = Boston Cooler. My grandmother would always make those for us in the summer instead of rootbeer floats.

I can't stand uncarbonated beverages. I live on diet pepsi.

Oh yes....Boston cooler...used to have that a lot as a kid too! We used vanilla ice cream and Vernor's ginger ale. Vernor's is the best if you can find it.

I drink quite a lot of diet soft drinks and seltzer waters.

Of course, when I was a young man I regarded beer as a soft drink.

The problem was, though, that there was never enough of it.

I love my Dr. Pepper 10, but I also make sure to drink plenty of water every day.
