Good news ( sort of )
Liver seems like it might have some repair capacity left ( i.e not decompensated ) Bloods are showing some improvement, the ascites has gotten way better, despite the fact that I stopped taking the diuretics ( which made me feel as sick as a dog ) two weeks ago and went on a low sodium diet instead.
Result of the bloods are out of date, I'd only been totally abstinent for two weeks when they were taken. Doc has scheduled more bloods in 4 weeks from today and maybe a scan ( what kind I can't remember )
I didn't really fancy getting my life in order only to drop dead anyway. But then no-one does I suppose...

Great news!
I highly recommend you go to Amazon and start reading the reviews for the supplement HIMALAYAN LIVERCARE.
I have been taking it for several years.
But read the reviews... People are using it and posting their improved liver enzyme levels.
